i know i haven been blogging regularly. but today i've decided to take a little time off to do this. or rather, i have to do this.

today, i learnt of the passing of a friend's mum. a kind and warm lady, whom i liked very much. i knew her personally... but perhaps not that much. but i still rem her when we went over to their house, when we teased her son in front of her, when she called me once to ask if her kid was with us.

it's always sad to learn of someone's passing. regardless of the manner it took place.

so my heart goes out to this fine woman, and of course to my friend.
